Ousama Algosaibi, the Managing Director of Project Masam, has recently inspected the work progress of the project in Yemen’s Marib Governorate.
Since the conflict between Yemen’s pro-government forces and Houthi militias escalated in 2014, liberated strategic areas have been left cluttered with anti-personnel mines and anti-tank mines, along with unexploded explosive remnants of war (ERW). Marib is one of the most landmine-contaminated governorates in the country.
Algosaibi met with the project experts and discussed with them the teams’ field plans and the ongoing developments in all their activities on the ground.
The managing director expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by all Project Masam staff, pointing out that the teamwork strategy, on which the project was based, enabled it to face every challenge and overcome all the difficulties it faced since its launch in mid-2018.
