Team 26, Masam, managed to dismantle a stone-shaped camouflaged explosive device that the Houthi militia had planted to target civilians in Hodeidah Governorate.
Masam Team 26 leader, Engineer Sami Saeed, told Masam Media Office, that the camouflaged device that was discovered by his team was a homemade explosive device in the form of a stone that the Houthi militia had planted beside the secondary road leading to Al-Dobla village in the Khokha District, indicating that his team dismantled it, sparing civilians from its danger.
Since Project Masam started in Yemen, Masam engineering teams have been able to dismantle and destroy more than 4,500 camouflaged explosive devices of various shapes and sizes.
A few days ago, Team 26 managed to clear a landmine planted by unidentified persons in the surroundings of Al-Fouz School in Al-Asailah village in Al-Khawkhah District of Al-Hudaydah Governorate.
The team leader said that the mine that was recovered from the surroundings of Al Fouz School was a locally made anti-armor landmine.
