Project Masam’s Team 26 has announced it has dismantled a second minefield this week in Hays district, south of Yemen’s Hodeidah governorate.
The leader of Team 26 told Masam’s Media Office that his team has successfully dismantled a minefield in the village of Shaab Bani Zuhair, west of Hays district.
The team located and cleared eight anti-tank mines and work is still underway until the area is fully secured.
Two days earlier, Team 26 confirmed it had cleared an anti-tank minefield in the same area, after receiving a report from locals of the presence of landmines that became exposed following heavy rains.
