Masam teams resume their work in seven mined areas in Shabwah Governorate

Project Masam engineering teams operating in Shabwah governorate have resumed their humanitarian clearance work in seven mined areas following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Before redeploying and distributing the demining teams, Deputy Director of the National Mine Action Program in Ma’rib, Muntadher Al-Radfani, met with Project Masam’s demining teams.
Al-Radfani extended Project Masam’s Managing Director Ousama Algosaibi’s congratulations on Eid Al-Fitr, wishing the team members success in their humanitarian work to secure civilians and their land from mines and remnants of war.
Al-Radfani stressed on all engineering teams to redouble their efforts and realize the importance of the humanitarian work they provide, stressing that the efforts made by Masam teams, over the past years, are appreciated and respected by all Yemenis of all social categories.
The supervisor of Masam engineering teams operating in Shabwah governorate, meanwhile, confirmed in a statement to Masam Media Office that Masam teams have resumed their humanitarian work, following Eid al-Fitr holiday, in seven mined areas in the districts of Bayhan, Usaylan and Ain, which, according to him, are among the most dangerous and extensively mined areas.
