Project Masam has destroyed 348 landmines, explosive devices, and unexploded ordnance in Wadi “Dhahaba”, in the district of Usaylan, west of the governorate of Shabwah in Yemen.
Engineer Muntazar al-Radfani said that the destruction operation included anti-tank and anti-personnel landmines, fuses, explosive devices, and unexploded ordnance randomly planted by the Houthi militia.
Al-Radfani pointed out that the amount of explosives that has been destroyed is the outcome of the efforts exerted by the Masam project’s engineering teams in districts of Bayhan, Usaylan, and Ain, located west of the Shabwah governorate in addition to Harib, south of the district of Ma’rib.
He added that Masam’s demining teams removed those mines from vital areas, and public roads used by civilians.
