Masam removes 3,435 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices

Project Masam’s operations room has announced that the project teams have removed 1,028 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices last week bringing the total number of mines removed since the beginning of the month to 3,435.
In its statement, Project Masam said that the project teams have removed 3,523 unexploded ordnance and 780 anti-tank mines since the beginning of the month. Management added that the project teams removed this week 555 unexploded ordnance and 14 explosive devices.
The statement published by the Masam Media office mentioned that the engineering teams removed during the same period 161 anti-tank landmines and 26 anti-personnel landmines.
Last week, the Masam teams succeeded in clearing 308.409sqm of Yemen liberated land, bringing the total area cleared since the beginning of the month until December 23 to 872.495sqm.
