Team 30 Masam (Specialized in landmines collection) carried out the project’s 79th destruction and demolition operation in the Yemeni western coast.
The operation included the destruction and demolition of 731 landmines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
In an exclusive statement published by Masam’s media office, the project’s Managing Director Mr Ousama Algosaibi said that the destruction operation carried out by team 30 Masam in Bab Al Mandab included 233 anti-tank landmines, 270 shells and unexploded ordnance, 220 fuses and capsules, in addition to 4 explosive devices and 4 anti-personnel landmines.
Project Masam continues its mission through its clearing teams deployed in 8 liberated Yemeni provinces, to bring life back to normal and protect the land and humans from the danger of landmines, explosive devices and remnants of war such as shells and unexploded ordnance.
