A Joint Forces’ clearing team was able to dismantle 9 Iranian made artillery shells and one landmine which was a remnant of what the Houthi militias planted in the region of Yakhtul in northern Mocha.
A source in the clearing team indicated that the team received a report from civilians about some artillery shells that were linked to a landmine, and that they were remnants of what the Houthis planted in the region before they were expelled from the region and its liberation.
The source noted that the team went promptly to the region and secured it, then started the clearing and dismantling of the shells and the landmine, which were transported later on to a secure place to prepare for their demolition.
The Joint Forces’ clearing teams continue their efforts in order to clear the western coast regions from the Houthi landmines and explosive devices.
