Project Masam listens to relieved civilians in Al-Hajfa area of Mawza’a Directorate

At a time when death lurked innocent civilians lives, in the form of landmine and explosive device planted by the Houthis over large areas of Yemen, Project Masam de-mining and engineering teams distributed in 8 Yemeni governorates were present, and with the project management determination, teams managed to extract and destroy more than 200,000 mines and explosive devices from the Yemenis path, bringing life back again.

In the Al-Hajfa area of Mawza’a Directorate, residents gathered, blessing the efforts of Masam engineering teams that rid them of mine terror, enabled them to return to their homes and farms, and secured their lives and the lives of their children from the danger that had lurked their lives for years.

In a humanitarian scene that proves the sincerity of Project Masam and its engineering teams in securing children’s lives, youth and women of Yemen, Team 25, together with project experts in Aden sector and the western coast, announced the clearing of Al-Hajfa town and its immediate surroundings of mines and war remnants.

People of the region expressed their thanks for the efforts made by Masam engineering teams to secure their homes, farms and roadways from mines, stressing that the efforts made by Masam teams will remain appreciated and respected and will be remembered forever.

People of the region appealed to Project Masam management, to continue this humanitarian work, which is considered one of the highest and noblest humanitarian work to save people and animals and restore life to farms after they have been subject to desertification for years.

For his part, the international expert in Project Masam, Dr. Zawbaa Al-Rawi, confirmed that Project Masam and all its affiliates will continue in Masam humanitarian journey without tiring or boredom, and that securing civilian life and normalizing life in all Yemeni mined areas is the goal that Project Masam seeks to achieve.

He confirmed that the Humanitarian Project Masam, was able to secure hundreds of residential and agricultural areas in all Yemeni governorates where Masam engineering teams are deployed.

In the same context, Leader of Team 25, Masam, Engineer Abdul Khaleq Fadel, confirmed that Al-Hajfa area of ​​Mawza’a Directorate was an area affected by mines, where mines were planted in a horrific and criminal way against humanity, as mines were planted in all area entrances and around homes in a manner that does not relate to humanity.

Engineer Abdul Khaleq told Masam Media Office that his team was able to restore life to Al-Hajfa area after they were able to secure citizen’s homes and pathways to return to their normal lives safely, freed from mines fear and misfortunes that affected everything in the region.
