Masam carried out the second destruction operation within a week for 1,500 mines and shells in Shabwah Governorate

Project Masam engineering teams continue their diligent and humanitarian work with great efforts to clear Yemeni lands of mines and war remnants that threaten civilians lives and hinder their movement.

In the second destruction operation for Project Masam within a week in Shabwah Governorate, Team 9, Masam, carried out an operation to destroy and detonate more than 1,500 mines, explosive devices and unexploded ordnance in Marra area of ​​Ataq Directorate.

Leader of the ninth team, Masam, Engineer Ali Al-Rimi, confirmed that his team was able during the last period to clear thousands of mines and various missiles from several fields in Marra area of ​​Ataq Directorate, and vast areas were cleared of mines and war remnants that pose a threat to farmers and citizens lives along with impeding them from reaching their livestock grazing areas.

Al-Rimi told Masam Media Office that the destruction operation carried out by his team today is the fourth operation for the Masam engineering teams in Marra area of ​​Ataq Directorate, adding that the engineering teams will continue their work until all areas are cleared of the death lying in wait for innocent lives.

Al-Rimi pointed to the great humanitarian work that Masam engineering teams play in various Yemeni regions, through which they restore hope to citizens and farmers for a safe life in the plain, mountain, valley, desert and all the way to the Yemeni coast.
