In an exclusive interview with “Masam”s media office, the member of Masam team 13 confirmed that his teams started working in the beginning of last week after the festivities of Eid, after attending a medical awareness course in the project’s headquarters about the precautionary measures related to Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Al Shara’bi indicated that “Masam”s de-miners who are deployed in most of Yemen’s governorates continue their humanitarian mission despite the health circumstances that the world is going through due to the outbreak of Covid-19, noting that the mines are no less dangerous to civilians than Covid-19, as both of them are enemies that threaten civilian lives.
Al Shara’bi added that the Houthi militias planted mines at random to kill children, women and the Yemeni youth in the valleys, reefs, mountains and wherever their criminal hands got to.
Engineer Al Shara’bi praised the project’s resilience and hard work to defeat the mines, noting that Masam stood in the face of the Houthi’s machine of death, and was in the forefront to protect civilian lives, save them from the death which the militias planted underground.
