In continuation of the survey and clearance of civilian homes in Al-Hadba area in Mawza’a Directorate of Taiz Governorate, Team 25 Masam managed to secure 10 residential homes, one day after it discovered three landmines in a one of the homes.
In a statement issued to Masam Media Office, Leader of Team 25, Abdul Khaleq Fadel, confirmed that Al-Hadba area includes more than 110 residential homes and has a population of 770, all of whom were in great danger due to Houthi mines planted in their homes.
Abdul Khaleq Fadel added that the Houthis had planted anti-armor mines and individual mines in citizens homes with the aim of killing and terrorizing the local population.
In the same context, the people of Al-Hadba area praised the efforts made by Team 25 Masam for securing the village and their children from the death that the militia planted in their homes and their roads paths.
Citizen Ahmed Ibrahim said that in Al-Hadba area they lost a number of their brothers and sons among dead or wounded due to the Houthi mines, most of whom lost limbs and became disabled.
Citizen Ahmed Ibrahim appealed to all those involved in the field of mine clearance to extend a helping hand to them to secure their villages from mines that threaten their lives and the future of their children.
