Project Masam has announced that its demining teams have removed 1,013 landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during the first week of August.
Project Masam’s Operations Room said in a statement that last week the teams managed to remove 890 UXO and 123 anti-tank mines.
The project’s demining teams cleared 275,097 square metres of Yemeni territory last week.
Sincethe launch of the project at the end of June 2018 until 4 August 2023, Project Masam teams have cleared 48,508,463 square meters of Yemeni land.
