Project Masam clears 714 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices

Project Masam has announced that its demining teams have cleared 714 landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) so far in February 2025.

Project Masam’s Operations Room said in a statement that the teams cleared 714 landmines and UXO last week, including 30 anti-tank mines, and 684 UXO, between 1 and 7 February 2025.

The project’s demining teams cleared 230,755 square metres of Yemeni land last week.

Since the start of the project at the end of June 2018, Project Masam teams have cleared 64,922,392 square metres of Yemeni land.
