Project Masam has announced that its demining teams have cleared 1,139 landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) so far in June 2025.
Project Masam’s Operations Room said in a statement that the teams cleared 1,139 landmines and UXO last week, including one anti-personnel mine, 56 anti-tank mines, 1,080 UXO, and two IEDs during the period.
The project’s demining teams cleared 146,921 square metres of Yemeni land last week.
Since the start of the project at the end of June 2018, Project Masam teams have cleared 67,579,917 square metres of Yemeni land.
