“Yemen free of mines” is the first and last bet for Masam efforts and tender of humanity in Yemen. In order to achieve this purely humanitarian goal, Masam had to reach night and day and spare no effort in every part of the land of this sister country, Masam had to expand its charitable activity in all directions, to bring Yemen to safety.
Expanding Masam humanitarian activity map in Yemen is an inevitable priority, especially that this project fights with mines scattered everywhere and planted randomly in all parts of Yemen who is afflicted by explosive death traps, which takes a multi-method camouflage approach to killing in cold blood.
In this context, Project Masam set its sights on expanding the engineering teams work map to include new regions and governorates, For the sake of achieving the general goal Project Masam came for, which is Yemen free of mines.
To achieve these humanitarian goals and expand their scope more and more, Masam experts in Aden and the western coast carried out an inspection visit to the Al-Alam area, east of Aden Governorate, to survey the area and determine suspected areas contaminated with unexploded ordnance and explosive devices that threaten the security and safety of civilians, especially herders and farmers, and then distribute the contaminated area to sectors and fields for clearance.
Masam experts team was accompanied on their visit to the Al-Alam area, Colonel Qaid Haitham, the executive director of mine action in Aden, as well as the commander of Al-Alam station, Colonel Naji Al-Yahri.
In order to implement this noble humanitarian mission, Team 30 was assigned to undertake the examination, marking and treatment of these pollutants, to secure these areas from the danger of unexploded ordnance left by previous wars.
An assignment that the international expert, Dr. Zobaa Al-Rawi, spoke about, saying, “Project Masam Management decided to assign Team 30 Masam to survey and identify high-impact areas, which are the vital areas most contaminated with unexploded ordnance and devices that pose a threat to civilian lives.”
And so, Masam continues to expand his bid and spread for good and security in all paths of Yemenis after ridding them from machinations and evils of mines, and watering the seeds of life again in those areas inhabited by explosive death and fear for a period of time, where Masam works on turning this page on the advent of good deeds from hope growers, family members of Good Project.
