In the context of their humanitarian mission in Yemen, Masam’s experts led an inspection visit to the clearing teams working in Al Hudaydah province to oversee the work of teams 7, 8 and 26 Masam, and assess the level of achievement made by them.
The visit made by Masam’s experts in Aden and the western coast, which was led by the international expert Dr. Zauba Alrawi included teams 7, 8 and 26 Masam which are working in Al Khokha directorate and Hays directorate.
During the visit, Dr. Zawba Alawi urges Masam’s clearers to sense the gravity of the humanitarian mission which was assigned to them. He described them as doctors who are treating the Yemeni lands, to clear them from the danger of landmines and war remnants.
In the same context, Masam’s experts led an inspection visit to Wadi Al Malik region of Al Mocha directorate after fully securing it from landmines and enabling its inhabitants to return to their homes and ending their sufferings in the displacement that has lasted for 4 years because of the landmines.
During the visit, Dr. Zauba Alawi called upon the inhabitants of the region not to approach any unknown bodies, and to inform Masam’s clearing teams immediately if they saw one, so they can deal with it and diffuse it.
Alrawi told the locals that project Masam is a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve Yemenis, protect their lives from the danger of landmines, normalize the life of thousands of families who were forcibly displaced because of the landmines, and to enable them to return to their regions and live a peaceful life.
For their part, the inhabitants of Wadi Al Malik region of Al Mocha directorate thanked project Masam which they described as a lifeline from the Houthi deadly traps that polluted their lands and killed and maimed tens of them.
