Project Masam Operations Room, announced, during the fourth week of October, project teams cleared 1254 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices.
Project Massam Operations Room stated that the total of what Masam teams cleared from October 3rd until the 30th amounted to 7,476 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
The Managing Director of Project Masam, Mr. Ousama AlGosaibi, said, last week, field teams cleared 1139 unexploded ordnance and an explosive device.
Mr. AlGosaibi, added, last week, Masam engineering teams cleared 105 anti-tank mines and 9 anti-personnel mines.
In a statement published by Masam Media Office, AlGosaibi, stated,the total of what Masam teams cleared since project launch until October 30, 2020, reached 195,271 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
AlGosaibi, said, during last week, Masam teams were able to clear 250,105 square meters of Yemeni lands, bringing the total of what the teams had cleared from October 3, 2020 till the 30th, to 1,102,085 square meters.
AlGosaibi added in his statement that, since Project launch end of June 2018, Masam teams managed to clear 15,776,230 square meters of Yemeni land, which was booby-trapped with mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
