Project Masam’s operations room has announced that last week, the project teams removed 880 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices.
In its statement, Project Masam said that the project teams have removed 677 unexploded ordnance (UXO) and two explosive device including landmines since the beginning of the month. Management added that the project teams removed this week during the same period 198 anti-tank and three anti-personnel mines.
Last week (4 March – 10 March), the Masam teams succeeded in clearing 248,623sqm of the Yemen liberated land, bringing the total area cleared since the beginning of the project in mid-2018 to 45,099,301sqm.
