Project Masam Operations Room announced that, during the second week of December, project engineering teams cleared 1492 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices.
The Operations Room mentioned in a statement published by Masam Media Office that the teams were able from November 28th to December 11, 2020, to clear 3,122 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
Masam Operations stated that, last week, engineering teams cleared 978 unexploded ordnance and 7 explosive devices.
In its statement, Masam Operations added that during the same week, the teams cleared 492 anti-tank mines and 15 anti-personnel mines.
The statement mentioned that the Masam teams were able, during last week, to clear 340,611 square meters of Yemeni lands, bringing the total of what was cleared from last November 28th to December 11th, to 621502 square meters.
Masam Operations Room stated that since late June 2018, till now, Masam teams managed to clear 17,305,158 square meters of Yemeni land that was booby-trapped with mines, ammunition and explosive devices.
