The Office of Human Rights announced the monitoring of 14780 cases of violations committed by the Houthi militias supported by Iran against the population of the governorate, including 190 cases of killing and 385 cases of injury, maiming and amputation and 105 cases of destruction of cars and public property and killed 100 of livestock and caused the displacement of more than 14000 people, this group does not hesitate from practicing various kinds of crimes against the Yemeni people.
Landmines remain the greatest brunt because they deprived the population of a safe life, where they were forcibly displaced and prevented from reaching their farms and clean water sources and attending their schools, as it has snuck maliciously into their future, the effects remained on the bodies of some, while the rest live a state of panic and constant fear, which was highlighted by Abdulhadi al-Assar by saying that the problem of landmines planted in Al Jawf governorate has become a serious dilemma in the present and the future, which makes it an other war that crushes the citizens and intensify the humanitarian crisis experienced by of Al-Jawf governorate where they planted large quantities in camouflaged forms in vast and vital areas related to people’s daily lives such as farms, grazing areas and subways, in the main asphalt lines, as well as in schools, places of worship and other facilities under the control of the militias, including the homes of citizens.
