A spokesman for the allied forces for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki al-Maliki that the boats used by the Houthi militias in their attacks on ships, were obtained from Iran, stressing that the alliance “works to maintain the freedom of maritime navigation and international trade.”
And he added “We have been working since the beginning of military operations on the sustainability of freedom of maritime navigation and international trade, and these militias only mastered the hostilities and terrorism, targeting commercial ships and oil tankers, and even civilians inside Yemen, since the coup against legitimacy.”
Al-Maliki said that the Arab alliance, announced two weeks ago, targeting five rigged boats in the vicinity of Al Hudaydah, the militias were seeking to use them in terrorist acts, adding: “We thwarted more than 35 acts of terrorism in the south of the Red Sea and the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb”.
The spokesman of the Arab Alliance pointed out that the Houthi militias get their weapons, drones and the boats carrying out their terrorist attacks, are from the Iranian regime.
“The planes used by the militias were smuggled by the Iranian regime, such as the “Ababil” drone, also called “Qasif” by Houthis, and the “Shahed 129” drone, which Houthis also call it (Samad),” Al-Maliki said.
In regard to the boats used by the putschists in the attacks, Al-Maliki said that there are two types of boats, “Blue Fish” and “Shark 33,” adding: ” the militias use it after they rig them with explosives from an Iranian industry.”
And about the attack cases that was dealt with earlier, Al- Maliki pointed out that the coalition “destroyed the boats, according to the rules of engagement, while other boats were damaged and studied to determine the techniques used, to prove the involvement of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards,” clarifying that the Houthis receive these supplies from Al Hudaydah port.
