A young man was killed when an explosive device planted by the Houthis exploded on the dirt line linking At-Tuhayat directorate and Al-Khawkha directorate on the West Coast.
Sources from Masam media office said that the young man, Yahya Muhammad Ali, was exposed to a smart-made infrared explosive device, causing his death instantly.
This is the second accident in less than a month of a similar accident in the same line, resulted in the death and injury of 12 civilians, most of them women and children.
For his part, the leader of Team 26, Masam, Engineer Sami Saeed, confirmed that his team went to the accident scene, conducted a wide survey and secured the explosion location.
Engineer Sami Saeed noted that his team had previously secured the line completely, but the Houthis, as usual, are carrying out infiltration operations to plant bombs and mines in sub-lines used by civilians to terrorize the local population and target their lives.
