The Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced the detection of a naval mine that the Houthis planted in the southern Red Sea to threaten navigation.
Al Ekhbariya Saudi news channel indicated that the Coalition detected a naval mine in the southern Red Sea which was planted at random by the Houthis to threaten navigation, without adding more details.
In the beginning of last July, the Coalition announced the killing of 3 Egyptian fishermen and the wounding of 3 others due to a Houthi naval mine explosion, near the Yemeni coast, in the southern Red Sea.
The Coalition forces announced in past reports the demolition of 137 naval mines planted randomly by the Houthis in Bab Al Mandab strait and in the southern Red Sea.
