The Managing Director of project Masam Mr Ousama Algosaibi announced that Masam’s teams cleared since the launch of the project until the 4th of June 168155 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
Mr Algosaibi said that the project’s engineering teams cleared since late June 2018 until now 108770 unexploded ordnance.
For his part, project Masam’s Operation Manager in Yemen Rateev Horn said that the total of explosive devices which were cleared by the teams since the launch of the project until the 4th of June reached 4901.
Mr Rateev added that Masam’s teams cleared since the launch of the project 2011 anti-personnel mines.
He noted that the teams cleared during the same period 52473 anti-tank mines.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of project Masam indicated that the total size of land which were purified since the launch of the project reached 10.383.417 square meters.
