Masam’s operation room announced that the project’s teams cleared since the 30th of May until the 4th of June 852 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
Project Masam’s Operation Manager in Yemen Rateev Horn said that the engineering teams cleared during last week 700 unexploded ordnance.
Mr Rateev added that the teams cleared during last week 150 anti-tank mines and 2 anti-personnel mines.
And in his statement that was published by Masam’s media office, the Managing Director of project Masam Mr Ousama Algosaibi said that the total of what Masam’s teams cleared since the launch of the project until the 4th of June reached 168155 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
Algosaibi added in his statement that the teams were able during last week to purify 74135 square meters of lands, which brings the total of what was purified since the launch of the project to 10383417 square meters of Yemeni lands.
