Since the coup of the Houthi militias and their announcement of an open war on Yemenis, the militias haven’t just scraped the political, cultural and social life, they have worked on scraping the Yemeni lands by planting in them over 2 million mines, in different shapes and sizes.
The militias are adopting the method of planting mines in all the regions they entered in order to kill as many civilians as they can, to hinder them from returning to their homes and reclaiming their lands and cultivating them.
The leader of Masam’s team 25 Colonel Abdelkhaleq Fadhel confirmed that the Houthi militias multiplied their crimes through planting randomly and massively tens of thousands of mines and explosive devices in the western coast.
In an exclusive interview with Masam’s media office, The leader of Masam’s team 25 which is working in Yakhtal region of Al Makha directorate, reiterated that the Houthi militias planted mines deliberately in order to hit civilians in their homes and sources of living.
He added that Masam project and through its engineering teams working in the western coast directorates has been able to restore life to thousands of Yemenis after securing their farms, houses and roads, which enabled them to return to them.
The Houthis’ crimes touched everything including the bee farms and areas where the bees graze, which led to their destruction and hindering the ability of beekeepers to move the bees to different grazing areas, in addition to the danger of moving in regions where battles took place, because of mines.
Colonel Abdelkhaleq Fadhel added that Masam’s engineering teams helped the beekeepers, and enabled them to move with their bees safely after securing many bee grazing lands.
