LIke many in Yemen, Mushir Ali’s life changed forever after he encountered a landmine while he was collecting firewood.
The family man told Project Masam he is now unable to move without the help of others, but uses all his strength and determination to keep going.
The former breadwinner said both his future and that of his family are in limbo. Mushir explained that, following the incident, his family faces financial hardships and relies on villagers to meet their basic needs.
Despite the difficulties, Mushir said he is optimistic Project Masam’s achievements on the ground will bring safety to Yemenis, and he wished the project success.
