Project Masam has announced that its demining teams have removed 835 landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) so far in November 2023.
Project Masam’s Operations Room said in a statement that the teams managed to clear 20 anti-personnel mines, 112 anti-tank mines and 703 UXO since the beginning of the month.
The project’s demining teams cleared 194,509 square metres of Yemeni territory in October.
Since the launch of the project in mid-June 2018, Project Masam teams have cleared 51,082,121 square metres of Yemeni land.
