A civilian was killed and two others were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in the al-Durayhimi district, south of Hodeidah in Yemen, two days after two civilians were killed in the same district.

According to a local source, a camouflaged IED planted by the Houthi militia killed a civilian and seriously injured a woman and another civilian, when it exploded near them in the village of Al-Amhal in Al-Durayhimi district.

In another incident, two civilians were killed two days ago as a result of the explosion of an IED planted by the Houthi militia in Al-Durayhimi.

Mines, IEDs, and deadly camouflaged mines claim the lives of civilian victims, especially women, children, motorcyclists, farmers, fishermen, and displaced people in Hodeidah areas and districts, where militias planted mines all along the coastal strip from Midi in the north to Al-Khawkhah in the south.
