The Managing Director of Project Masam, Mr. Ousama AlGosaibi, announced that, Masam field teams have cleared from end of June 2018 to December 25th, 207.205 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
In a statement published by Masam Media Office, AlGosaibi said that from project launch until now, Masam teams have cleared 138,853 unexploded ordnance and 5808 explosive devices.
The Managing Director of Project Masam added that since project launch, the teams have also cleared 59,977 anti-tank mines and 2,567 anti-personnel mines.
AlGosaibi mentioned in his statement that the teams were able to clear 17,788,569 square meters of Yemeni land that was booby-trapped with mines and unexploded ordnance.
