In order to reach a mine-free Yemen, the project works to destroy all mines and explosives that its engineering teams remove to ensure that they are not used by any party.
In this context, the missile collection team in Aden governorate carried out an operation to destroy and detonate 1913 mines, fuses, and various shells in a destruction operation that counted the 85 to the Masam project in Yemen.
In a statement issued to Masam Media Office, Dr. Zawbaa Al-Rawi, the international expert in Project Masam, confirmed that the destruction operation carried out by Project Masam today in Al-Alam region, east of Aden, included 26 mines, 454 various shells, 620 miscellaneous fuses, and 813 various bullets.
Dr. Zawbaa Al-Rawi said that Project Masam is continuing in its humanitarian mission to clear Yemen of mines and remnants of war for the sake of securing Yemenis from their danger.
For his part, Major General Saleh Al-Sayed, Director of Security in Lahj Governorate, sent a message of thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its great and continuous support for Yemen and Yemenis, indicating that Project Masam is one of the most important projects presented by the Kingdom to Yemen as it is considered a life project for land and people alike.
