On the occasion of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, Project Masam wanted to highlight the realities of the impacts of landmine warfare in Yemen.
In a new harrowing short documentary, we met with landmine survivors, the families of landmine victims and casualties, public health professionals and education specialists, as well as the men behind humanitarian landmine clearance to understand the threat posed to civilian life, education, medical care, food production, trade and labour and the environment.
