Masam engineering teams in Qataba Directorate in Al-Dhalea Governorate continue their intensive efforts in clearing mines, drive off civilians from its danger and enabling them to return to their homes and farms safely, as Team 8 Masam works in Wadi Batinah to secure the land and clear Houthi mines, and enable farmers to return to their farms. And reap its benefits.
The leader of Team 8, Masam, Eng. Saleh Ali Nasser, said that his team was able to secure two fields in the valley with an area of 9,400 square meters, indicating that the area secured is agricultural lands whose owners have stopped cultivating them for years due to mines, adding that thanks to Team 8 Masam, efforts, that land has returned to life again.
Engineer Saleh Nasser said that his team is currently working in securing Field No. 3 in Wadi Batinah, which is one of the largest fields in the valley, with an area of 13,200 square meters.
Team 18, in Al-Qafla, continues its humanitarian mission to secure citizens homes and pathways to enable local residents to return to it again after militia mines forced them to flee fearing for their lives.
Regarding what has been accomplished in Al-Qaflah region, the leader of Team 18, Masam, Engineer Al-Radfani, says that his team was assigned to secure Al-Qaflah region at the beginning of this November, and within two weeks it was able to purify 60% Al-Qaflah region.
