A landmine explosion in Barkan Region, Mukayras Directorate, resulted in the death of a woman in her thirties.
Local sources said that a landmine planted by the Houthi group had burst in a sheep shepherd named Arwa Saleh Ali Al-Barkani, 35 years, in Jabal Malaa, in Manssab village, south Barkan, causing her death and the death of the sheeps that she herded
Sources added that the people heard the explosion and rushed to the accident scene and saw sheep scattered on the ground, while they found the body of the victim, Arwa, dumped on a mountain slope due to the severity of the mine explosion.
A landmine exploded yesterday, in Blas Mukayras region, where it was planted by the Houthi militia in a car in which three young men from the Blas village were traveling, killing two of them and seriously injuring the third.
Sources stated that the mine exploded on the road linking the villages of Blas and Samaa, east of Mukayras Directorate, and caused the killing of both young men Ahmed Abdel Khaleq Al-Mansri and Muhammad Saleh Taha Maqtaa, and the injury of the young Hamdi Ahmed Al-Khader Maqtaa with an injury that will keep him hospitalized, and the total destruction of the car they were traveling in.
