A landmine planted by the Houthi militia in a truck carrying household gas cylinders exploded on the desert road linking Ma’rib and Al-Jawf Governorates.
Local sources said that a landmine planted by the pro-Iranian Houthi militia exploded the truck of citizen Hassan Hejan, which was carrying household gas cylinders for Al-Yatimah region north Al-Jawf, coming from the neighboring oil Ma’rib Governorate, via the desert road, which caused damage to the truck.
Last week, a landmine exploded in a citizen’s car, killing a civilian and wounding others in the same area.
Reports indicate that the Houthi militia planted nearly a million mines of various shapes and sizes in Yemeni territories, causing thousands of civilian casualties, including women and children, some of whom were killed and others were wounded or permanently disabled, other than the livelihood damage that limited movement and cultivating agricultural lands.
