Project Masam trains, equips, and supervises over 744 Yemeni nationals (including deminers, engineers, medics and ambulance drivers, administrators, and logistics and security personnel) working across some of Yemen’s most mine-affected governorates.
Our teams are currently active in Aden, Al-Jawf, Abyan, Al-Dhale, Al-Hudaydah, Lajj, Marib, Shabwah, Taiz, and Hajjah. Many of these areas were heavily mined during the conflict, contaminating roads, farmland, and residential zones.
Project Masam’s headquarters are based in Aden and Marib, with operations supported by experienced international advisors and technical experts. Together, we work in close coordination with YEMAC and local authorities to prioritise humanitarian needs, facilitate safe access, and return land to productive use.
By operating in challenging terrain and high-risk environments, Project Masam restores safety, mobility, and confidence to communities that have lived for years under threat.
