Project Masam carried out an operation to destroy and demolish 740 landmines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices in Bab Al Mandab.
In an exclusive statement made to Masam’s media office, the Managing Director of project Masam Mr Ousama Algosaibi asserted that the demolition operation carried out by team 30 Masam (specialized in shells collection) included 376 anti-tank landmines and 53 anti-personnel landmines.
Algosaibi added that the operation which was supervised by Masam’s experts included also 150 fuses and various detonators, 143 various shells, and 18 missiles.
Mr Algosaibi indicated that the number of destruction and demolition operations carried out by project Masam reached so far 70 operations in Yemen.
