Masam’s teams work hard in a diligent and generous manner to defeat the conspiracy of landmines in Yemen. Team Masam 13 led an example in this quest, as this hard working team was able to secure and clear 30 mined fields and areas that equal 700 thousand square meters; the size of lands that team 13 was able to secure, since the start of its mission in the middle of 2018 until today.
In an exclusive interview with Masam’s media office, the member of team 13 Masam, Engineer Wasil Al Shar’abi confirmed that his team was capable of clearing and destroying more than 3 thousand landmines, explosive devices and thousands of shells and unexploded ordnance that were planted in the lands and fields where the team was leading its mission.
Team 13 Masam has been working with a one team spirit, for over two years, with determination and resilience, to participate in clearing Yemen from the death traps that threaten the security and lives of civilian Yemenis.
And despite the Herculean difficulties faced by the landmines’ clearers, team 13 Masam was able to overcome them, benefiting from the expertise amd skills it gained from the experts of project Masam, and also the most advanced devices the project provided to its clearing teams in the fields.
In different locations and regions, team 13 Masam made an exceptional effort and achieved a brilliant success, which was witnessed in the size of regions secured by the team, starting from the valleys and Marib’s mountains to the deserts of Yatmah in Al Jawf province.
