Project Masam has announced that its demining teams have removed 4,210 landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) so far in June 2024.<\/p>\n

Project Masam\u2019s Operations Room said in a statement that the teams removed 755 landmines and UXO last week, including 47 anti-tank mines, 707 UXO and one IED, bringing the total of anti-personnel mines, anti-tank mines, UXO and IEDs cleared so far this month to one, 163, 4,035 and 11, respectively.<\/p>\n

The project\u2019s demining teams cleared 139,024 square metres of Yemeni land last week, according to the statement.<\/p>\n

Since the start of the project at the end of June 2018, Project Masam teams have cleared 47,443,533 square meters of Yemeni land.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
