{"id":20008,"date":"2023-08-01T07:41:27","date_gmt":"2023-08-01T07:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.projectmasam.com\/eng\/?p=20008"},"modified":"2023-08-05T11:10:03","modified_gmt":"2023-08-05T11:10:03","slug":"saudi-development-and-reconstruction-program-for-yemen-delegation-visits-masam-hq-in-aden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.projectmasam.com\/eng\/saudi-development-and-reconstruction-program-for-yemen-delegation-visits-masam-hq-in-aden\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen delegation visits Masam HQ in Aden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A delegation from the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has visited the headquarters of Project Masam in Yemen&#8217;s de facto capital Aden.<\/p>\n<p>The landmine clearance project is in its sixth year and has received accolades <a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectmasam.com\/eng\/gulf-cooperation-council-praises-project-masams-humanitarian-landmine-clearance-efforts\/\">nationally and internationally<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the delegation met a number of project officials and was briefed on the project&#8217;s achievements.<\/p>\n<p>Headed by Hassan Al-Attas, SDRPY assistant general supervisor, the delegation received a detailed presentation of technical aspects related to Project Masam clearance operations from Vince Farrell, the project&#8217;s Senior Technical Advisor, and Fayez Al-Harbi, a demining expert.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the delegation members expressed their appreciation for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectmasam.com\/eng\/our-success-was-achieved-under-challenging-conditions-of-disarmament-says-managing-director\/\">project&#8217;s successes in clearing liberated lands in Yemen<\/a>, and voiced their thanks to Project Masam staff for their hospitality and welcome.<\/p>\n<p>The SDRPY delegation included Muhammad Al-Yahyaa, deputy director of the organisation&#8217;s office in Aden, Nayef Al-Wadaei, Operations Coordinator at the programme\u2019s office in Aden, Abdul Rahman Al-Ruba\u2019, energy portfolio manager, Nasser Al-Shehri, transportation portfolio manager, Mishary Al-Balawi, the projects engineer, and a number of engineers of the program\u2019s advisory team.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A delegation from the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has visited the headquarters of Project Masam in Yemen&#8217;s de facto capital Aden.
