Landmines in Yemen has become a certain phenomenon, documented in image and sound, monitored in numbers and dyed with the blood of its victims. No one can doubt that what mines did in Yemen is a heinous crime that rises to the ranks of real human catastrophe.

The Leader of Team 25, Masam, Eng. Abdul Khaleq Abu Hatim: The team managed to secure 80% of Al Dwaiha region of Mawza’a Directorate in Taiz Governorate
Abu Hatim: The team was assigned to work in Al-Dweeha in August after receiving reports of deaths and injuries among residents due to mines explosion planted by the Houthi militia among the trees
Abu Hatim: The team managed to clear and destroy more than 60 landmines, all of which were planted in citizen’s logging places, livestock grazing areas and roads entrances leading to their homes
Team 25 Masam responds to any reports from local population stating that they have found mines outside the team’s scope of work, and immediately the report is responded to in any area explosive death traps are found to secure it
