A Yemeni citizen died on Tuesday from being injured by a landmine explosion planted by the Houthi militias in the district of Thi Naim, in the central governorate of Al-Bayda.
Medical sources stated that the young man, Ahmed Al Maljamie, was seriously injured on Monday evening by a landmine explosion on his way back to his home in Al-Munqati’e district, in the center of the Thi Naim Directorate.
They added that Al-Maljamie was transferred to a health center in the directorate before he died from his injuries.
Houthi landmines have killed hundreds of women and children in Yemen and have caused permanent disabilities in many citizens.
